No matter how much you plan ahead, integration is always intense and unpredictable.
AROUND THE CLOCK IN BARCELONA
Once on-site in Barcelona, we realized that our sound columns were so high that were blocking the view of the Sagrada Familia for a whole segment of the audience. With no time to lose, we had to think fast and make adjustments.
Meanwhile, our team worked around the clock on calibrating sixteen 20K projectors and blending them to create a perfectly mapped surface.
We used our proprietary X-Agora system to playback the visuals, lighting design and audio. And we certainly wouldn’t have been able to do it without our local crew who helped us install the technical equipment on the extremely fragile surface of the sacred and historical church site.
The final touches were done just in time for the first show of Ode À la Vie. From our tech HQ, we could see a sea of people and we couldn’t wait to start the show!
WHAT’S A “FACTORY SPOTLIGHT”?
Factory Spotlights go in-depth to explore a particular project or topic that we are passionate about; we look at topics that are transforming the industry or game-changing projects. This week we’ll be sharing a story a day about a once in a lifetime experience, the Sagrada Familia projection mapping show called Ode À La Vie.
