This summer’s most anticipated music tour Legends Of The Summer, featuring Justin Timberlake and Jay Z, kicked off July 17 in Toronto and is hitting New York City tonight and tomorrow.
We’re thrilled to have created original visuals for the tour and to have collaborated with Willo Perron (artistic director), Jesse Lee Stout, (designer), Drew Findley (content manager & programmer), Nick Whitehouse (lighting designer) and Bobby Schneider (production manager).
Here’s what media thought of the first stop of the tour.
“…a very impressive A/V set-up, which included lots of red lighting and projected visuals inspired by Classicism and Renaissance-era art, as well as naturalistic imagery (the best was the coiling body of a snake), overlaying and framing massive video screens on each side of the stage.” – Spin, July 18, 2013
“…the two-and-a-half-hour set was smooth and fun and playful and didn’t have that air of my-turn, your-turn. It just seemed natural, almost off the cuff in places…” – Billboard, July 18, 2013
“The lighting and splashes of video—in keeping with the aesthetic of Magna Carta and 20/20—complement the songs…” – Vibe, July 18, 2013
